Work Experience

2009 - Today

Katherine currently works as an APC Operator, also known as a Newscast Director, for NBC 6 South Florida. She directs fast-paced news, sports, and cultural affairs broadcasts. She has received two Emmy Nominations and a Telly Award.

2015 - 2022

For seven years, Katherine single-handedly ran her own bespoke jewelry brand, which soared to 6-figure sales. She independently ran all product design and manufacturing, marketing and shipping to thousands of retail stores, as well as directly to customers.

2007 - 2010

Katherine served as an Administrative Assistant to the Honors College, where she coordinated event planning and fundraising efforts for the department. During her time at FIU, she also worked as a Professor's Assistant in the English Department collaborating with Instructional Design, copy editing and proofreading.
