Work Experience
2009 - 2024
Katherine spent 15 years at NBC 6 South Florida. She directed fast-paced news, sports, and cultural affairs broadcasts. She has received three Emmy Nominations and a Telly Award. During her time at NBC she grew through multiple roles including Stage Manager, Assistant Director and Director.
2015 - 2024
For seven years, Katherine single-handedly ran her own bespoke jewelry brand, which soared to 6-figure sales. She independently ran all product design and manufacturing, marketing and shipping to thousands of retail stores, as well as directly to customers.
2007 - 2010
Katherine served as an Administrative Assistant to the Honors College, where she coordinated event planning and fundraising efforts for the department. During her time at FIU, she also worked as a Professor's Assistant in the English Department collaborating with Instructional Design, copy editing and proofreading.
